I just found a newspaper article in my scrapbook from our sophomore year at Paly written by Herb Caen entitled: "FRIDAY FISH-FRY" 

"WIZEGUYS, ALWAYS WIZEGUYS: Palo Alto High observed National Library Week in a most peculiar manner this week.  That's because the alecky-smart kids staged a 'run' on the library--each one taking out six or eight books which depleted the stacks to such a point that the library had to be closed for two days!" (to restack the shelves).   I made the following note in my scrapbook: "Raid on Librarian, 'Old Lady' Morehouse"  sorry about the remark :(
